School FAQ's
Bookings & Availability
The easiest and most efficient way is to email us on info@navanadventurecentre.ie. We’ll confirm your preferred date if available and send over a booking confirmation and schedule.
We recommend booking as soon as possible as we operate a first come, first served basis — especially for peak dates in May and June which sell out early.
Minimum group size is 20 students. We can cater for up to 540 students at once, making us ideal for full-school tours.
Yes! We welcome full-year groups or whole schools. We divide students into rotating groups to ensure a smooth, fun-filled experience.
Activities & Packages
Our standard tours run for 4 hours (with approx. 3 hours of activities, 15 minutes at the beginning to store bags, toilet breaks & group setup, 30 minutes for lunch, and 15 minutes to pack up and return to the bus). Shorter durations available on request.
We have three dedicated packages:
- Crazy Science & Fun: Ages 3–8 (Junior/Senior Infants – 2nd Class)
- Adventure & Fun: Ages 6–12 (3rd–6th Class)
Laser Tag & Fun: Ages 6–12 (Senior end of Primary)
We also offer secondary school packages and TY programmes.
Activities vary by package — choose from Crazy Science & Fun, Adventure & Fun, and Laser Tag & Fun. Each includes a mix of outdoor and indoor activities, games, and challenges.
Some activities are outdoors, others are indoors or under cover. All activities go ahead regardless of weather unless a red weather warning is issued. Inflatables may be substituted on windy days for safety
Each package is pre-designed to suit specific age groups and energy levels. While we can’t customise packages, we’re happy to help you choose the one that best fits your group
Supervision, Safety & Staff
Yes. While our trained staff manage and supervise each activity, teachers and SNAs must remain with the group at all times as part of our child safety policy.
All staff are Garda-vetted, fully trained in activity supervision and experienced in working with children. At least one qualified first aider is on-site each day.
Absolutely. Please let us know any additional needs in advance so we can support your students appropriately.
Transport & Facilities
Yes! We can organise return bus transport through our trusted local providers. Just ask for a quote when booking.

Yes, we have bag storage areas available.
Food & Breaks
Yes. Packed lunches are welcome. There’s time scheduled for a food break, and both indoor and outdoor seating is available.
Yes! We offer a hot food lunch for €7 per student:
- Option 1: Chicken nuggets, chips & Capri Sun
Option 2: Cocktail sausages, chips & Capri Sun
Free tea/coffee & sandwiches for teachers and SNAs
Payment, Policies & Cancellations
Payment is typically made via bank transfer — a deposit is required before the visit, and the balance can be paid on the day. Full details will be included in your booking confirmation.
Yes. Let us know when booking so we can invoice your school accordingly.
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance. If we cancel due to weather (e.g. red weather warning), we will offer to reschedule or issue a full-value voucher.
